The best healthy restaurants in LA
I personally think Los Angeles has the best food scene in the US right now. Between the latest culinary creations of the health food world, pastas fresh from Italy, gorgeous gardens, farm to table restaurants, and rooftop bars with sunset vibes, there’s something for everyone in your group, including your vegan and gluten-free friends!

Breakfast & Brunch
Great White Cafe: Everything’s delicious, and they have plenty of vegan and gluten free options.
Gjusta: This spot’s a must for breakfast and freshly baked goods.
Erewhon Market: Swing by the the hot food counter for the most delicious quick bite. They’ve also got great smoothies! Plus it’s fun just to wander and see what’s up and coming in the health food world, as it usually seen here first.
The Henry: I’m obsessed with the Sprouts and Squash Salad and the Short Rib Pot Stickers!
République: Come for the atmosphere, stay for the house-made granola that will absolutely blow your mind. Be ready for a line!
Dinner & Drinks
L’antica Pizzeria: Request to sit in the garden and order the Napalese pizza or short rib bolognese.
Santa Monica Proper Rooftop Bar: Order the za’atar fries and sip on the most delicious cocktails while you watch the sunset.
Uovo: I’d say it’s the best pasta in the states, fresh made in Italy by hand daily. They offer gluten-free pasta too!
Night Market: Delicious Thai street food in a super cute atmosphere (all the vibes).
Jon & Vinny’s: Get the spicy fusilli and the lemon pasta.
Malibu Farm: A gorgeous farm to table restaurant right on the Malibu Pier, I love coming here after a day trip in Malibu!
Bavel: I dream of their hummus, it’s some of the best I’ve ever had. Reservations are required far in advance, but the entire experience and stunning atmosphere is totally worth it.
Rustic Canyon: No one elevates vegetables quite like Rustic Canyon’s Head Chef, @chefjeremyfox.
Only the Wild Ones: the cutest natural wine bar pop up with a delicious, all organic selection.
Healthy things to do in LA
Wander the canals in Venice. Then, stroll over to Abbott Kinney to shop in cute boutiques and street stalls.
Take a day trip to Malibu. Go wine tasting and hike the Solstice Canyon Loop! Maybe in the reverse order, maybe not.
Go to a farmers market. There’s so many to choose from, but Santa Monica’s farmer market on Wednesdays is my favorite for produce and Brentwood’s farmer market on Sundays has the best vibe and scene!
Go thrifting! The thrift shops in Echo Park have amazing, unique finds.
Soak up the sun! Read in a cute cafe in the sun! Walk the beach in the sun! Make friends in the sun! Just enjoy all the beautiful sun!
